These are just some random shots that I enjoy. And yes I know 3 blogs in a day is a lot!

Pictures at Joe's (First day with 50mm 1.4 lens)
I Picked up my Canon EF 50mm 1.4 today from Joe and Connie's. I thought it would be a great time to try it out. I decided to take some shots of Joe while he was working on guitars at his shop "In Service Guitars". Some of the shots are a little hot (too bright) but I do not have the software to post-edit them, so this is the best I can do for now.

Day at the Daffodil Parade
We decided to meet everyone outside of Dairy Freeze, so that was a perfect excuse to have some good burgers & fries, oh and a milkshake. I love how Jacob is puckering his lips as his mom drinks some of the milkshake that they were sharing.
The parade is enjoyable. I really enjoyed the Vintage Tractors, but more than that it is just a good day to get out with family.
There was a bike shop next door and I decided to take some shots. This was the only one I liked.

My 40th Birthday (First Day With New Camera)
Friday the 3rd was my 40th Birthday. My wife got me a Canon 40D and we went to Seattle with 2 of our best friends, Joe and Connie Riggio, to have a day of walking around and taking some pics. It was an amazingly beautiful day and we had so much fun. It my opinion there is nothing better than doing simple things with great friends! Here are some pictures that I took. Connie is an amazing Photographer and was a great help that day. I hope some of her talent rubs off on me.
From left to right this is Connie, Joe and my beautiful wife Patty.
This is where we had lunch, Salumi Artisan Cured Meats. It is Mario Batali's parents deli and the meats are amazing. The line was out the door. The smell that came out the door made me get so excited for what was to come. The Deli is tiny and seats about 10 but it was the best I had ever had.
