This Saturday we went on our yearly trip to Orting to cut down our Christmas trees. It is a great opportunity to get some pictures of the family.

This tree farm is so beautiful and has acres of every type of Christmas tree.

As you can see there was no shortage of beautiful babies and love when our family get's together.

This is our tree after Patty and some friends decorated it. Patty definitely has an eye for pretty trees.

Seattle view from Kerry Park

This last weekend I went to Kerry Park with some friends to take some pics. Kerry park has one of the best views of Seattle and plenty of space to set up. It really was an amazing time.

We arrived at dusk and were able to get some nice shots. It was a little hazy that day so they didn't come out as sharp as I would of liked, but still a lot of fun.

I can't tell you how much I enjoy taking night shots. I used a tripod, set the camera to bulb and held the shutter open anywhere from 10-20 seconds. I could spend hours messing with different
settings on the camera.

I really enjoyed taking this picture. As with all the other pics I had the camera set
to bulb but this one I held opened the shutter for 35 seconds.

Well fall is here and one of my favorite things is our yearly trip to Spooner Farms to get pumpkins. It's another great opportunity to be with family and get some more shots of the kids.

I think the girl aren't too excited about having to pose for all of us.

Look at that curly hair!

I'm not too sure that Peyton was too crazy about Mollie taking the helm of the wheel barrel.

I just love these kids and treasure every minute I spend with them.

My beautiful wife Patty and son Jacob. He is getting so big.

I love this picture of Jenn and Madelynn, she is such a loving mom.

Ohh I just want to pinch those cheeks.

Peyton's Second Birthday

This last weekend we had a wonderful time celebrating Peyton's 2nd Birthday. Birthdays are always a great time to take some shots of the kids enjoying themselves.

Peyton looked so beautiful in her little dress. I enjoy every minute that I get to spend with her.

As with every party the kids kept the parents busy. They just don't get the whole "these presents are for Peyton" thing!

As you can see the cake was really enjoyed by all the kids, especially my son Jacob.

This is Peyton with her Mimi. Camie sure loves her grand-kids and they really love her.

My sister Debbie was up from LA to go to the fair, so it was a really nice chance for her to get some kissing time in, and Madelynn 's head is so kissable!

After presents and cake the kids went for a swim. Even the freezing cold water didn't stop these kids from ahving a good time.

This really was a great day for a really special little girl.

4th of July 2009

We went to Enumclaw to watch fireworks at the fair grounds so I thought I would try my hand at taking some pics.

I love this one focus is soft but I still liked it.

This was the first time I got to use my tripod (thanks Connie), so I really had a lot of fun. Still trying to get the focus thing down.

The boys really had fun playing Frisbee while they waited for the fireworks to start.

This boy was so cute I just had to take a shot. This was really a great family event.

I decided to take a couple of pictures of mom. The light was really nice and I really liked how they really showed her personality.

The mountain was so beautiful! I sometimes forget just how amazing Rainer is.

This was an old barn by the field where we were. There is something about barns that I have always loved.
